Wow... this place is huge. Looked clean. The staff however seemed to be in slow motion and didn't seem to care that I was unfamiliar with the place. (I asked for directions to the movie and the said down the hall door 4. they didn't even point in the direction to go. Not very helpful in a large place that I've never been in before).
I went there today to see Where the Wild Things are and the person at the register couldn't get the computers to give us the tickets. Then the phone rung and instead of fixing the problem, he kept talking on the phone for the 10 minutes we stood there. I said forget it, we are missing the movie, give the money back. I then asked to talk to a manager and the manager took up for the guy. There was a LONG line behind us and most of those people walked out when I did because if we would have stayed and waited on them, we would have missed at least 30 minutes of the movie. Why pay for something that you missed part of? The popcorn smelled like it was burnt. I think this is poor customer service. The sad thing is, this is the ONLY theater I have been going to for over 10 years and now I won't be going back. Anyone know a good theater that CARES about their customers?? My daughter and I have been waiting to see this movie for a longgg time and she gets so excited every time she sees an advertisement for it. I'm very upset. Please Marquee, if you are reading this, change things. I loved that theater before today
went to see the 4 pm showing of Star Trek Movie was fine but had 2 problems THERE WAS A WASHER IN MY POPCORN also when went to bathroom in was filthy with water? all over the floor..when told attendent he needed to check popcorn popper all I got was huh want a new bag? hope no one else got any unnecessary hardware..
Nice and big. You can also have Birthday parties there. The popcorn is O.K. with some combo options. It does stay cold in there in Winter, or Summer, so ALWAYS bring a sweater, jacket, or small blanket. If you have to take the stairs, it's a long walk for some people. They have great FREE movies for the kids in the Summer, and that's a real treat.
Best theatre in the area! Definitely a great place. Bring something warm to wear though =)
