Carmike is the only theater in morgantown to have DLP projection. So if you like a clear picture,good coloer,then this is the theater for you! no blury-flikering picture like theaters that use film. Now the bad news......The mens room is almost allways dirty and smelly.
i have been going to carmike for at least 6 years and i find it to be clean and reasonably priced. i usually see matinee movies at a cost of 5.00
I've been going there for years - even before Hollywood was built - even though they have added on more screens, they don't take care of the place. It is always dirty with popcorn & trash everywhere plus the bathroom (the men's anyway) is nasty with at least one fixture broken all the time. Lately I have had to go back out just to tell them to start the movie and a recent 3D picture was all messed up enough where I got my money back. The management of this theater is not doing a god job of managing things, yes Hollywood is $.25 more per movie but it is well worth the extra quarter. It is newer, cleaner, & the sound is better.
