  • The films are always great, but I want to rate the staff. I went to see a film and I had my cell phone in my jacket pocket. After leaving the theatre, a half hour later, I realized that I did not have my phone. I went back, left my name with the ticket taker, and the next day received a call that my phone was found. They would NOT accept a gratuity. Thank you, thank you. They were conscientious and honest. What more can I say. My faith is restored. It is nice to know that honesty is not a forgotten grace. Thank you again. You get 5 stars.

  • If you really like to see good "films" go to the dome. The best movie house in the Contra Costa County. We are indeed lucky to have the dome, hope it will stay there forever.

  • If you like this sort of faire-then this place rocks like chuck. Clean-great films, and the best seats this side of Barco.

  • This theater is a treasure. It runs movie-house movies, not mass market pictures, and retains its small, community theater appeal. We love you CineArts at Pleasant Hill!

  • I love love love the Dome. I will go see a movie just because it is playing in the dome - even if I have no idea what the movie is about. That's how I saw Sideways. I hope they never tear it down. It is awesome. Plus the CineArts has the best movies. And the bathrooms are clean!
