We've been going here for years, and missed it for the 2 years we lived in San Francisco. We love being able to bring our own snacks, are rarely bothered by the people around us, and can talk to one another without bothering anyone else. Also, where else can 2 adults see 2 new release movies for $13.50 total on a weekend night? Or even 3 movies, if you change screens, can get the radio frequency from someone, and have the stamina! One recent improvement is that you can now buy water, soda, and fresh popcorn at the ticketbooth as you come in, instead of having to walk to the concession building. The only cons are on Friday and Saturday nights, the trucks and vans come in to be ready to set up for the flea market before the 2nd movie is over, and don't turn their headlights off in a timely manner. Also, they aren't that great, always, about making sure the projector is focused right- but then I've had the same problem in regular movie theaters, too.
i have been going here for years. great place to go you can turn it up as loud as u want, talk and no one gets mad like in the walk inns and great place to enjoy ur self or go with someone on a date. and now they play new releases and thats is great. room for every one. dont forget the popcorn. its not a movie with out it
There is nothing like the drive -in movies!! My daughter and recently discovered the adventure and go as often as we can ... pile a bunch of pillows and blankets in the back of the SUV ... some junk food ... wear our PJs and even bring the dog!! Fun, fun fun and a lot cheaper than a regular theater ... plus we can talk to each other or on our cell phone and no one complains. If you haven't tried it in a while ... why not this summer?? Still great for dates too ;-)))
Support your local DRIVE-IN. Keep an American way of intertainment alive and well.
I've lived in the bay all my life and remember going to the drive-in as a child and loved it then. I now have a family of 5 and we all pack our chairs and goodies and have a fun family movie night out for less than it would cost to go in to a theater. We love it!
