Imax rules gotta check it out good staff. Cold Stone near by doesn't get any better!
If you like teenagers screaming during your movie you will like Hoffman. By my calculation the rating is 3.8 and I am shocked by that.
It is a nice comfortable theatre and one of the only places that still serves pretzel bites whihc are my favorite and integral to my enjoyment of the movie! The popcorn can be burnt sometimes which is dissapointing , I mean how hard is it to make good popcorn? Lately the help has been too much of the teen "i could care less" variety but mostly they are courteous and get the job done. Solid movie going experience and better than most.
I like the Hoffman. I have not been present for the "teen hang-out time". My son and I usually go during the matinee times, and the place is clean, workers are courteous, and helpful.
After reading the reviews - I must state that I LIKE the Hoffman - it is a matter of "compaired to what"? I guess I don't go at the same time as I have not found the same experience with teens in and out or unsupervised young ones - we saw a 2 year old at "saving private Ryan" - so people are just not thinking these days and are why we are in rapid decline to 3rd world status... - I go usually before noon on sat or sun.. past few times right after dinner you think this is bad - go to St. Charles theater in Waldorf - THERE you get all the downside of above PLUS sticky floors, uncomfortable seats, a selection of movies that appeal to the indigenous populous humanity I like â it is people I canât stand
