  • Going downhill fast. Used to be one of my favorite spots but long waits for food and beer and then cold food when you get it is a huge turn off. Brewvies if you are listening get more help, quality help! You will prosper. If you don't, people will stop coming. I have heard the grumbling from many.

  • As it's the only place in town (perhaps in the state, the Intermountain West, or even the western USA) that serves a cold glass of beer with your movie, it's a hit. The food has always been okay, better than a mainstream movie theater, but still bar-food quality. However, since it opened in about 1995, the place has aged dramatically. Most notably, the restrooms are in disrepair with clogged or slow toilets, dreary lighting, busted faucets, and corroded mirrors. The pizza oven (now finally fixed) was broken for over a year. The place is so desperate for an upgrade. For some strange accounting/invoice reason, the restaurant no longer permits you to include your movie ticket purchase on your food tab. This now requires you to wait twice: once for your food, and again in a line for your ticket. This place is still a happening joint with good people and a good business model. Too bad that these details drag it down. I would give it four stars, but I must give it only one to shake up the owners in addressing these issues.

  • Sure the food is sub-par, who cares? It's not about the quality of food, but rather the fact you can have a cold micro brewed LOCAL beer in a GLASS while watching a current run movie. I appreciate they make an effort to serve something besides the ususal rancid popcorn, plastic cheese on mothball tasting corn chips and hot dogs of questionable age found at every other theater in town. I recently went to "UP"at the Gateway (arguably one of the newer and high tech). A SMALL"extremely stale" popcorn and two watered down SMALL Cokes packed with more crushed ice than Coke, cost almost $14.00. What a rip off! This is typical of every movie theater in the country and you want to complain about Brewvies? Give me a break! Skip the food and have another beer and be thankful for it.
