    • If this theater is a dump, what do you consider a nice theater.... ? Cinemark? UA? Some of the AMC's? This theater has the best ambience in town, except maybe for the Landmark/Inwood.

    • I don't think the Angelika is a dump at all. It has always been very nice & clean when I have gone. The choice of movies is usually pretty good. My friends & I enjoy this theater.

    • I think its a nice place and they give student discounts with an ID card. Its always nice to save a few bucks to put towards dinner. The location is also very nice with lots of pre-post/ movie shopping and browsing. Lastly, I like the crowd it draws in versus your top 10 movie theater being filled with bratty adolescence texting through the whole movie.

    • They have some good movies, but let's be honest. The theater is honestly a dump. It is dirty and some of the worst seats I have experienced. When there is an art house movie I want to see, I always hope it goes to the Magnolia in uptown rather than Angelika. If they want to be taken seriously, they have got to do something about how dirty, gray, and uncomfortable that theater is.

    • Great movies, respectful clientele. Good eating nearby. It's the adult way to see a movie.
