We've been going to since it first opened. We love it but it is a bit expensive. We love the screens and it is clean. We go to allot of movies and take our kids and grankids with us. They all love it too. Seats are terrific and love that the arms go up to give us more snuggle room. If we are a bit short of cash we will go to Forney's new Starplex. Cheaper on tickets and food. But you give up on bigger theaters, screens and comfy seats.
To Employee what I understood the previous customer trying to say was that this is a good theater. Customer was simply stating their opinion and not complaining. They were actually give some good info on the place for having as much traffic as you do at the theater. It is well kept up with. So I don't see why you were getting all upset about. As for the theater I give it two thumbs up nice.
I've been going since they opened and this is a great theater. Very comfortable seats, which I find extremely important. Everyone charges the same for tickets so that is a non issue(unless you go to the $1 theater, which usually has more rude people and dirtier screening rooms, ruder customers...). If you get the AMC MovieWatcher card you get discounts on candy every time you go, and get free popcorn, drinks, and tickets as your points add up. So that helps on the snack prices. I understand that is how the theaters make their money, not much on ticket sales. It's always pretty clean, as clean as you can keep it with such high traffic. There is a big difference between a little trash left between movies and a dirty theater. They do a great job keeping the whole place clean. I like the Mesquite 30 theater better than Northpark AMC 15. We will go to the 15 if we are going to shop afterwards, 30 if it is just for the movie. Ok, one complaint. They don't have Dr. Pepper. They had it when they opened but then they became a Coke slave. But that is probably AMC's fault not Mesquite 30's fault :)
AMC Mesquite is a good theater! The people are very nice and always helpful. Theater prices are what they are... The local theater cannot be blamed for that. We frequently go to the AMC Mesquite and the folks are always happy to help address or remove people who are acting foolish and noisily. Overall, we enjoy it quite a bit!
I HAVE GONE TO AMC 30 FOR MANY YEARS WHEN PRICES WERE 3.50 OR 4.50 A TICKET. NOW ITS AROUND 9.50 AND FOR IMAX TICKETS ARE 11.00 OR, SO I ALL WAYS GO EARLY TO PAY 5.00 BEFORE 12 NOON AND IMAX TICKETS ARE 9.00. RESTROOMS ARE CLEAN; THEIR ONLY DIRTY, WHEN EMPLOYEES ARE TOLD TO CLEAN THEM BY MANAGEMENT. SO, I RECOMMEND GO EARLY TO MISS THE HIGH SCHOOL KIDS , OR THE UNEDUCATED PEOPLE WITH OUT MANNERS THAT TALK DURING MOVIES AND U NOW HOW YOU ARE...........
