Lately when I go to this theater I get my ears blown out. I usually keep my fingers in my ears at the beginning of the movie, especially when there is any music on the soundtrack, but that gets cumbersome and I usually give up and just deal with it. I wish they would hire projectionists who aren't deaf. It's interesting that another review mentioned that in the VIP section: "There is also an employee there to get anything for you that you may wish". I've sat in VIP many times and have never been made aware that anyone is available to serve me. All I know is that someone always checks my ticket. Maybe that is the same person.
I always check out the early shows on Sunday at Loews!!!! I probably go every other weekend....but not today. They must have some sort of remodeling going on.
...hate that the Matinee's early movies were now starting at 11:30am instead of 10:00am Sat & Sun...only reason to make the trip to water front for a movie ...it use to set AMC apart from the others ...now your just like the rest only more expensive
The VIP Seating is very comfortable and the price is reasonable, only $5.00 more per ticket, and you get 3.50 in a coupon to use at the theater itself. The seating in VIP is large, comfortable recliner like chairs with ample room to put any type of food you may wish to get. There is also an employee there to get anything for you that you may wish, popcorn or drinks, so you do not have to leave the theater. We will go back, again and again.
I think its RIDICULOUS that only one movie is playing in your theater this week! WHO CARES ABOUT HARRY POTTER? NOT ME! I might not ever even give them my business again!!! I KNOW I will be going to Destinta tomorrow!
