  • One time the movie broke and the girl making the popcorn came and fixed it. You only get what you pay for, although we haven't stopped going there. They do their best and more and more people seem to be coming because of the economy. Joe

  • I have an autisic child and was looking for a movie theater that we could try out for her first movie theater experiance. Let me tell you we made a wonderful choice with the Beaver Falls Carmike! The manager was very accomidating. He even offered to refund our money if my daughter couldn't "handle" the experance. The theater was amazingly clean the staff very courtious and the prices wonderful. The manager even gave my daughter a Gforce movie cling/poster. That totally made her day. Thank you for a great first for my daughter.

  • I have mixed feelings about the Plaza 6. On the one hand, it was very clean for a movie theater, and the evening ticket prices were very low. However, note they don't accept credit cards (cash/debit only). On the other hand, this theater needs some improvements if they want to stay competitive. The theater I went to (far left) only has stereo sound. Hi, what year is it? Spend a few bucks and put in a decent sound system. When I go to the movies I expect audio/video better than I can get in my living room. I can excuse the poor quality of 35mm film but not sound, and it wouldn't cost much to throw in a few side speakers. They will need to upgrade to digital projection too, but I'll give them a break on that for a while as that's very expensive and they obviously don't do much business here. Other things, the concession prices were far too high, I had hoped given the cheap tickets that I wouldn't have to pay $10 for a small popcorn and small soda. But I guess that's part of the "movie experience" so I'll give them a break. :)

  • We recently moved to area and were thrilled to find this little theater. Very clean. Pleasant employees. Always the latest movies. And you can't beat their prices!
