Yes it is shame this theater is in disrepair and prices are expensive. I insisted someone remake popcorn once. It was overcooked and tasted burnt. Why not, the steak goes back when it's not cooked right? I remember going to the Avenue theatre and Pappys pizza from years ago. I love movies and but been waiting to rent from the "Red Box". Can't go wrong for only a buck! Also it is cheaper to go to the drive in and see two for one price!
This place has not been cleaned since I was in high school-a long, long, long time ago...anyone remember when Pappy's Pizza was next door? That's how long ago. The place is absolutely filthy. It's a disgrace. The prices at the concession are ridiculous, the "kiddie combo" is now over $7-who could afford to take the family? I'm glad to see at least they are back to children's admission for less than $5. Still, we really have to want to see a movie pretty badly to go to this dump. It's cheaper and much more sanitary to wait until the DVD comes out and just buy it. Someone needs to give them a little competition, then maybe we'd see some improvement. I actually give it ZERO STARS but they made me choose at least one.
Terrible!! Carmike is aweful! Every time i go, there are equipment problems..projectors dimming, breaking down.. i've just had it with the place. Concession is way overpriced also
