The Boyd is my favorite local theatre. People are great, the movie screen is big, and no competing movie soundtracks coming through the walls! What a grand Bethlehem landmark and perfect movie spot.
It just does not get any better than this! Great Sound, picture & ambience.
It brings back some wonderful childhood memories of spending afternoons at the movies with my friends,and I am happy to share that piece of my past with my childern. They enjoy feeling like they have taken a step back in time to see movies as they were meant to be seen.
The Boyd is the best theater in the Lehigh Valley. It takes you out of the new grey virtual millennium and places you back in a time of warmth, nostalgia, and comfort while using the latest digital projectors found in the most advanced theaters.
This theatre completely shaped my love of movies and my love of the experience of going to the movies itself, and I could not be happier that it is still going strong today. Please, don't go sit in a bland, cold, charmless box at a multiplex! If the movie you want to see is playing at The Boyd, go there! It's a terrific experience every time! The staff is great, it's clean, the sound and picture are wonderful, it's simply the best in the Valley!!
