Excellent theatre, I love every movie I have seen there (even if it wasn't really awesome) b/c the atmosphere, the owner coming out to introduce the movie, the live music while being seated (I have been there when there was a violinist, and when they had a pianist), the red curtain, etc. You really feel like you've been entertained, plus it doesn't cost any more than those large movie complexes, but the experience is so much better. Although they show only one movie at a time, they really weed out the crap and almost always select movies that most people would really enjoy. I cant say enough about it!
A delightful, nostalgic experience, complete with organ music before the show and the occasional short. The place is so clean and comfortable you can put your purse on the floor without it sticking.
Ok, so it's a one-holer... (Well..one screen), but it's absolutly fabulous. Privately owned theater; with a coffee house and gift shop attached. They do NOT take credit cards, but do have an ATM. An old school theater, that has been modernized, yet retains the original feel, complete with red curtains between showings.
