The best movie experience in central Ohio. State of the art projection and sound in a comfortable setting. Great food and drinks from the Radio Cafe next can be taken into the show!
The Drexel has always been my favorite place to see indie/prod movies before they hit the mainstream theatres. It is one of Columbus's landmarks.
memorable!
I knew that seeing a movie at the Drexel would be a wonderful experience the very first time I saw its classic theater facade complete with dated neon sign, sloping entranceway and movie posters lining the walk as one enters the building. Walking into the Drexel is like walking back in time to a time when going to a movie was truly an intimate experience. A small theater, its coziness and nostalgic feelings made even a ho hum movie an absolute treat to view. I can't wait to go back again.
The Drexel shows wonderful domestic and international films, but the facility is worn and shabby looking. The ladies room is kind of gross and needs a much needed cleaning and aesthetic update.
