I like this theater but I really dislike the people that work there. They are never welcoming or friendly and really seem to dislike every moment of their job. They have all been there for years so maybe they own it, but I think if they even slightly made an effort to be pleasant the theater would be much more crowded than it is. Too bad.
It's not really that dirty or smelly. It's an old style theater but thats part of the charm of the place. Plus the prices are awesome and guess what you get what you pay for! I'd rather go to the Detroit then anywhere else.
This maybe an Old building. But it has alot of charm that the old style theatre has. Where else can you go and pay for 2 movie tickets and get a free ticket when you buy a large drink and popcorn. I go there on a regulary with my kids for family night.
would you rather pay 8.50 to watch a movie? sure it is really dirty and and smelly but it is better than paying 8.50 for westwood
It needs a good cleaning from top to bottom. The floors are sticky and it smells like sweat and dirty feet. Plus, they keep it too hot in there. They need to put in an air conditioner or something to get the air flowing in there.
