Great Theatre with stadium seating, courtesy staff, and easy-to-get-to location. Well worth the drive. We saw Avatar on Dec 30 (3D is cool) and they did put up ropes to make sure those who came early to buy tickets were let in first after the theatre was cleaned. It would help, IMO, if they had trash cans in the back, and turned up the lights before the start of the move people to the center. Avatar will play to a full house.
This theatre has a tendency to NOT put up ropes for lines to get into showings of popular movies. This can lead to chaos. During a screening of up, we had families who came in much later than those of us who had been waiting some time for the theatre to be cleaned and they pushed and shoved their way and ran to seats ahead of us. If they corrected that issue, I'd give them 5 stars.
We love Cinemark Tinseltown. Even though there are several theaters much closer to our home we will drive the 5 minutes to watch films in this terrific location
MARLEY & ME... If you love dogs, love someone, love your kids, or just remember loving...go see this movie! It'll touch not just your heart, but your soul. Not about Jennifer or Owen at all (TG!)...about how love happens in ways we aren't looking for and don't expect.
Thus far i've found Great Escape to be a really cool theatre. There's a good selection of films, the seating is great, the screen and sound are good and the ticket prices aren't too bad. Concessions are overpriced, but that's par for the course with most theatres these days. My only complaint is that it's become a hang-out for the teens. I realize that they need a place to go, but sometimes they are too loud and obnoxious during the shows that it's hard to enjoy the film.
