No problem with the selections of features shown in Celina. They occasionally book dramas and other serious fare for mature moviegoers like myself. But, beware ordering the popcorn. No problem with the ingredients used. The taste is fine. But, WITHOUT FAIL the bottom two inches of your cup will contain unpopped old maid kernels and TINY BITS of popcorn broken off from the popped kernels. The kind of junk many other theaters will discard. This has been a running joke in Celina for YEARS. For $4.00 a cup we deserve better! Last time there ... May 3rd of '09, the floor in the large center auditorium was sticky where I sat. The popcorn at the Van Wert Cinema down the road isn't any better. At least Van Wert has Senior Citizen's nights and several other nice promotions. Best deal in the area is the Ritz Theater in Portland, Indiana just across the state line. Only two screens. WAY too many teen oriented PG movies shown. But, cheaper admissions and GREAT popcorn!
nice theater, ac works really well, good place to go in the heat of the day.
Lots of box office hits have come and got without ever seeing the inside of Celina theater. I can recall several occasions where a new movie was coming out that I wanted to see, and never ventured to Celina. But otherwise, Celina theater is a great theater with good service.
great small town movie theater
