Filthy overflowing toilets, film broke in the middle of the show, no one staffing front counter to give refunds or fix the bathroom. Horrible experience. Don't waste your time or money, go elsewhere.
The Strand Theater doens't have a grand interior or exterior, but where can you go and see the latest movies at such a reasonable price. I would prefer to patronize my own neighborhood movie theater. I bet the rest of you don't have a movie theater of your own in your neighborhood. Too bad! Besides, there is no long lines and you don't get turned away. The hospitality is great also. I'm taking my 3 grandchildren on Saturday matinee to see" Christmas Carol". Now where can you go to see the latest at such great prices.
Pretty average as far as theaters go, but the staff was really nice. Not very clean (what movie theater really is though) and it only has three screens so the selection is usually pretty small. The prices are average and the staff nice, so who can really complain?
I agree with Mark and drkcloud4u. It's a great old-fashioned type of movie theatre - the kind I grew up going to where it only cost 25 cents to get in. You got to see the news, cartoons, a serial, and two feature films. On a Saturday, you'd be there all afternoon. It was great!
it's really dirty there. i only go here once in a great while. it makes me sick lol. but it's cheap. but i try not to attend there that often....PLUS, they don't accept debit cards or anything. just cash. which stinks, but it's whatever.
