  • Crossgates Mall is too big, and it's overrun with kids most of the time. Moreover, the theatre prices are too high, and the cost of ANY food or beverage is excessive. However, if you want to see something in IMAX, there are not many choices locally. For a regular flick, I strongly recommend the Spectrum if you are over the age of 18 and know how to behave in a theatre. It costs less, it's cleaner, the food is cheaper and MUCH better, and it's independently owned--always a bonus!

  • Terrible movie theater. 1st if you want a cup of tap water you have to pay for it! You cant bring your own in and buying it there will cost you $4 for a bottle! 2nd, way too many jr and high school kids. 3rd, dirty and understaffed. Do yourself a favor and go to the Spectrum on Delaware ave, or to the Madison on Madison ave. Support your locally owned businesses. They both are great and the spectrum has awesome cookies, cakes and brownies, and its not nearly as expensive.
