  • I wish they would get their tech act together! Sat through a terrible screening of Avatar with the sound badly distorted. Would not mind so much, but this was in theater #4 in the back where they stick features that are on the way out, and I've had no less than 3 similar experiences in that screening room in the past 2 years. They did give all of us complimentary re-show passes.

  • this movie theater is straight ghetto......people here are too loud....... you better off in times square where you can enjoy the movie.

  • love this theatre.... a matinee during the week. Me and three other people in the theatre... bring my own snacks, what a better way to spend the early morning or afternoon for six bucks.... love it!

  • I've only attend the theatre a few times. During those times it was reasonably clean, inlcuding the bathrooms. I have actually gone to dirtier theatrers downtown. It was not crowded either time, both early evening showings on the weekend. There was some talking, but not much. There were no people running around, shouting ect, although I did experience this at a theater in Los Angeles. I will check it out when I go see Precious. Peace.

  • I have gone to AMC MJ many times to see a moive because it is close to where I live. I don't buy from the concession stands because they are too expensive (as with all movie theatres!); the bathroom is usually decent (but could be cleaner!) and the theatre itself could use a little tidyiing up. WARNING: Never go to a early morning show--you have to wait until management arrives to open up the theatre. They are definitely on BPT (Black People Time!!).Overall, would rate MJ two and a half to three stars!
