it is showing The Road, which tells me this theatre is invested in the art of cinema.
Nice selection of films but way too crowded most of the time.
On many past visits to this AMC the sound in the different theaters was not working during the previews. Each time it was brought to the attention of the management and they said that they were aware of the problem and that the sound would come on with the featured movie. The latest problem with the sound occured on November 28th in theater number 17.
great theater! Its very big and has every movie that's currently out. I would highly recommended it to anyone!
i am handicaped and my experiences at loews stonybrook 17 have been good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A nice young man helprd push me into the theater and came back after show to push me out. the wheelchair seating is a little to close and the ramps are steep getting in and out. if you are in a manuel chair you will need help.
