The IMAX theater in the Palm Hotel Casino is the ONLY IMAX theater in Las Vegas. Don't go to any Station Casino LIEMAX theater, as someone else has so cleverly and correctly nicknamed, a name fitting for the farce they are trying to fool Las Vegans with. Stations IMAX or Liemax are all a joke, they are just normal theaters with a laughable screen stretched from ceiling to floor. I laughed to so hard at the foolery when i entered the ridiculous deception to see Star Trek. The Luxor had the most awesome IMAX theater in Vegas, but we all know that Casino operators make the most stupidest choices and closed it. Just look at what happened to Treasure Island, ah, har, har har! True Imax theaters are designed with minimal seating for a logical reason. The Palms Casino's, Brenden Theaters rules for IMAX in Las Vegas. Go There.
Gosh, the IMAX was great! There were a lot of snacks at the stand, so I couldn't decide. I was dissapointed about how the IMAX only seats like 85 or 100 seats, but can you belive it's the biggest IMAX in Nevada?!? The Luxor used to have a good one, but that closed last year. All The Imposters are LIEMAX!!!
the theater i was in was not cleaned from the previous screening so there was popcorn and drinks littered throughout the rows. about 5 minutes before the end of the movie, for some reason, there was a black screen crawling up from the bottom until finally all we had was the audio and a totally black screen. not a good way to end a movie. luckily we got our money back; but what a waste of time.
All I have are positive comments about this theater. Besides it's location, nowhere can I find great service, quality of film & sound, great seats (rocker & loveseat combined) and great selection of snacks. I don't go anywhere else but Brenden. Highly Recommended!!! =)
