I used to live in Plainsboro, and went to see IQ there. IQ has a scene in it that was filmed in this theatre. It was so cool to be in the theatre and see the theatre in the movie. LOL
It's small and a throughback to local movie houses, but I've always found great sound and often a selection opf films that can't be found anywhere else. Couple that with the free refills on large popcorn, what else do you need!
I don't know about reviewer 1, but I've been to Princeton Garden twice and will never go back. It is quaint and in the heart of Princeton, but both times I was there, the sound was out of synch with the video. The management's response was -shrug, do you want your money back? If you are looking for 50s karma and quality, this is the place. It you want modern sight, sound, and comfort, drive a few more miles to Market Fair.
Excellent theater. Newly refurbished. Great seats and great sound. Still has that small community theater feeling but with all the modern technology.
