I really enjoy this theater, because I enjoy supporting local buiness. I also like the look of the building. It has a vintage feel. I believe most the movies that play there are pretty good too. The seats aren't the best. It may be hard to see if someone sits right in front of you. Overall, it's my favorite theatre to go to.
Even though the seats weren't comfortable, going to the Dundee Theater reminded me of the value of history and loyalty versus razing everything old to replace it with shiny disposable generica. If not for this theater, Omahans wouldn't have the opportunity to see many films nobody else will show. Like "Thank You For Smoking?" What's edgy about that? Making it available to see is providing a vital service.
Small theatre and more mature crowd make this one of the few places I'll go to see movies anymore. One "nice to have" would be cup holders and bigger seats. The architecture is nice, too. Art deco and fun. Oh, and they don't gouge on refreshments.
