  • Where else (even in Yuma!) can you get free popcorn and a $5 movie? I've been going to Mainstreet since they opened and have never had any problems whatsoever. You can avoid the crowds of the mall and keep downtown alive at the same time. I suspect the person who complained about the bathrooms being upstairs could probably stand to use the stairs a time or two? GREAT place and I will continue to frequent - why pay a fortune for a huge theater, tons of teenagers (most without manners!), and all the noise, distraction and trouble when you can pay half the price and enjoy the movie at Mainstreet. Keep up the good work MSC!

  • Great service and great prices, the complaints I've read here seem to steam from nay sayers as I have never expericed any type of poor treatment or mismanagement and I have been attending Main Street Cinemas for years. I hope the community continues to support its local businesses like Main Street, I know I will.

  • I love Main St Cinemas. Free popcorn. $5 movies. small charming theaters. much better than the Harkins megaplex.

  • only 2 restrooms downstairs so you're forced to go upstairs to use restrooms (stairs or wait for elevator). upstairs balcony wall is DANGEROUS-no guard rails/low, so watch out for your kids' safety! the popcorn; concession stand employee's and ticket giver's customer service are all stale. usually out of hotdogs. coffee shop is decent tho' long waits to get items. one theater's design is perfect venue for performg arts (i.e. Rocky Horror Picture Show and local plays) but management does not support the community... just the indian tribes who own theater and the vacant restaurant across from theater who can afford to let these businesses stand as-is. typical Yuma attitude... where's Yuma's 'change' to modernize?

  • I'm new here so trying to find all kinds of things to do with my son so was reading all these reviews and sorry to say i gotta agree with tawzer62 he or she was right! Went to main st cinemas for the first time and probably would never go back unless it as free haha. Service was bad no one was in the ticket window had to bang on the hot a** glass and then someone came, and was mad at me for leaving finger prints on the glass, coffee shop was closed for whatever reason, no one was there to take our tickets had to go to the food counter and lady there ripped tickets but didnt tell us where to go so had to find it myself which not being from here didnt help so i didnt like it too much. But maybe if they fix their staff they can become a better theater.
