  • It is a nice theater. It is clean and comfortable. It is expensive though, both the tickets and the concessions. And the anonymous rating above was right - the satff is not particularly friendly, though not unfriendly either.

  • We have been going to this theater for years. We live in the Flint area and drive 20 miles one way to come to Lapeer. We have always found the people there very friendly. The theater and bathrooms are always clean. We like getting a senior discount and the free club card. Theater seats are comfortable and 99% of the time people are quiet and no texting is going on with cell phone users. (This can be very distracting at some of the bigger theaters). Popcorn and pop prices seem to be reasonable especially if you buy the kids size. There are always free refills if wanted. We will continue to come to the Lapeer Cinemas as we like the smaller home town atmosphere.

  • This is an excellent theater. Excellent accommodations for the handicapped with or without wheelchairs. Seating is available right next to the wheelchair access for the handicappers family and friends. The first stepped row of seats has a railing to assist the physically challenged. Staffing is always polite and helpful and go out of their way for physically and mentally challenged customers. Talk to the staff and the handicapper and and those with them will be seated before the rest of the customers so that handicapped seating is not taken up by able-bodied patrons. I am never rushed out of the theater at the end of the movie. Employees will work around you while cleaning up the theater after the movie. Cleanup is performed after every showing, not at the end of the day.(no sticky floors) Ticket price is cheaper than Flint, Saginaw, Bay City or Pontiac areas, they even offer a senior discount at age 55. I have been refunded ticket price if I find a movie objectionable within the first 10 minutes of the start of the movie. A free club card is available and when filled you get a free movie, Any movie not just selected limited choices. Popcorn and candy prices are about the same as any other theater. The theater is always clean in the lobby, behind the concession stand and especially the auditorium's and restrooms. There are benches in the lobby available while waiting for movies. A new movie is offered every week and popular movies are held over. I drive 44 miles round-trip to patronize this theater.

  • honestly? this place is terrible. yes. good quality sound and picture. but to be honest. the staff is so unfriendly!!!!!!!!!! all they seem to care about is getting you through as fast as possible, even when they arent busy. it makes me feel very unwelcome. the popcorn is.......alright to say the most about it. the theater is big and the seats are cozy. but they are also a corporation, meaning they have large sums of money to spend. support local theaters. not corps.

  • Never had a problem. 99% of time, no talking in theatre during movie, unlike Flint theatres. Staff is always friendly. It's clean through & through. Even the bathrooms are good.
