This has been our first choice for a theater since it opened. The ticket prices are much lower than the Cinema in Muskegon, the seats are great, the restrooms are cleaner, the staff is very friendly and the popcorn is really fresh. We use our Frequent Movie Goer card (free) every time and accumulate points for free popcorn and drinks. You can also print out free coupons from their website to save a few dollars on concessions too. If you have to wait in the concession line for more than 6 minutes, you get a free drink! Just tell them how long you've been waiting and voila!. Some of the theaters are oddly shaped inside, but on the whole, it's a really nice place to spend a few hours.
My sister treated me to the movies last weekend. We saw Transformers/Revenge Of the Fallen. Outstanding! We thought the ticket prices were high, but I found out later they weren't. If only they would come down on the concession prices. The theater was clean, very nice. Workers were friendly. I'd go back again. Larger screens, and better sound quality would be nice, but if it means increasing ticket prices, it's good enough as it is.
If you want to go to a theater where prices are right, coupons available for discount drinks/food plus it is clean, then Goodrich Grand Haven 9 is the place. If you are a If you want to go to a theater where the staff are friendly and helpful, then Goodrich Grand Haven 9 is it. They have refill prices for many things that really helps make the outing very affordable. I do not find any form of problems with size of the screens or sound systems. If you use the frequent movie cards, you can get some movies at discount & build up your points for free drinks/popcorn.
The prices are great, the theaters are clean, and it is in a good location. However, the screens are small and they offer nothing digital. The sound systems are also nothing to get excited about.
This one and Holland 7 are the theater I hope the movies I want to see are playing at - dread it when Holland Star theater only gets it as it means I will drive to Grand Rapids.
