Good theater to see movies at a very reasonable price with a local downtown flavor. We need to support classic theater's like this . The refreshment's are also priced right for a family's budget
I absolutely love this theater! Not only the history of it but also the fact that their tickets are cheap, the place is clean and it is near Starbucks and cool restaurants. Thank you, Farmington for the Civic Theater!
The theater is owned by the city and they subsidize the movies. Good local atmosphere and really good ticket prices, excellent seating. Two theaters in one, an upper level and a larger lower level. Truely an Icon of Americana, this is just like the pictures you have seen of the local hometown theater.
This theater has the cheapest ticket and concession prices around the entire area, and they're just as worth it as any other theater is. The general space where you purchase tickets and concessions is very small and cramped, but the actual theaters are the same size as any others. I've only been here once so far, and plan to go again, but all the movies the theater offers are ones that were out at a main stream theater (Such as AMC or Emagine) a month or two ago. However, the theater does seem to make up for this by occasionally showing classics or much older movies, although I've only seen this once in my short time of knowing the theater exists.
I like it. It's way cheaper than spending 30 bucks for popcorn and a movie for my son and me. Small theatre though
