  • I have stopped going to AMC Livonia because of their prices. The new Phoenix Theater at Laurel Park ( same location as the old Laurel Park AMC theater) has much lower prices and first run movies. A a senior who goes to the movies a lot, why would I pay $10.00 when I can see the same movie for $4.50. AMC needs to wake up.

  • I went to a movie at noon on Friday and it cost $7.50 a ticket. And how can any theater justify $10 bucks forpopcorn that can be purchased outside for $2. The theaters contend that the movie producers charge them a lot for the movie so they can only make $$$ by charging $5 for a pop and $10 bucks for a popcorn. SO spend your money on more videos and a nice home video system.

  • Very unhappy today, for with all the listings, called one of the many numbers, giving times to see a particular movie; and the time was incorrect when we arrived to the theatre. Besides standing with my cane in hand in line in the cold to purchase tickets and finding the movie I wanted to view wasn't showing at the time I wrote down, the snack prices were exorbitantly high! Ten dollars for a medium popcorn and box of candy and the prices for a matinee had increased 50%! Then when I asked why this theatre wasn't in the newspaper movie guide any longer, because I forgot to ask last time there, the lady said it was because of the price of putting the theatre in the movie guide! Imagine that, economy bad, 20 movie theatres under one roof, busy place, exorbitant prices for snacks, cold wait for purchasing tickets; and increased ticket prices! There were too many listings on the internet for the AMC Livonia20, with too many phone numbers, so is not user friendly either. If they're too cheap to advertise, then why isn't information accurate, when one calls a number to find out what they need to know. I don't care to do business with a cheap and greedy business, so won't be going back there anymore.
