Showtimes & Tickets

I went to this theater the first time today. It is deceiving; it's actually quite large in there! The movies are very different and a nice unique change from blockbuster films playing in most theaters. The concession stand is nice and there is tier seating. Although I agree with other reviewers the staff isn't great, I will continue to go here anyways because you can see some movies that aren't playing anywhere else!

Not for the Summer/Holiday crowd. Great for foreign and independent films.

We have enjoyed the fabulous fims at this and other Landmark Theaters since they arrived in 2002. However, last night, January 6, 2007, one of the movies was oversold. The assistant manager interupted the film, turned on all the lights to find out who was in the theater that shouldn't be, kicked us out before we could find a ticket stub, was rude, loud, and sounded like a recording! She made no attemp to find some folding chairs for the few people who needed seats or see if some of the seats had jackets on them and might indeed be open (which we latter found out was the case!) Everyone was offended and upset! Too bad that a classy theater has this type of staff!

This is my first choice for indy and eclectic films in DC. Good film selection and large screens for an indy theater. Good coffee. An audience that respects the sanctity of the theater - no idle chit chat and other mindless ignorance. Near zero teenagers. Very clean. Dining and a nice stroll are right outside the door.

This Theatre has all the urban charm and offers the best eclectic movies to our best knowledge in MD. One of Downtown Bethesda's Highlights!
