Lots of fun, well worth the trip if you are from out of town.We brought our teens this summer for some great oldies on throwback nights to see Jaws and Animal House.Never had a bad experience here and the new owners are very pleasant, good times.Their site is well maintained as well.
Great for dinner & movie (cinema pub). Cheap tickets to get in ... of course they make it up in the food ($) ... but you can always eat before you get there! Tables are conveniently located between the chairs (middle of theatre) or there are "counter tops" in front of you if seated on the sides. Get there 30 minutes early to ensure your food is ready to enjoy while watching the movie. The food is very good ... but a bit pricey as mentioned earlier. overall the family gives it 5 stars ... BTW ... I do agree with the earlier posts that the sound system could be tweaked... but hey this place was built in 1924 and I'm sure they couldn't even spell acoustics back then.
Great place.... see a second-run movie really cheap, eat a burger and sip some beer or wine while you watch. Beautiful old restored theater, nice big screen. As earlier reviewer noted, the sound isn't great. If I had a complaint... since it changed owners a few years back, the movies have been very mainstream. When it first opened it seems to me they showed more quirky, offbeat stuff, which I prefer. On the other hand, it seems like it's been busier under the new owners, so I guess they're well served not to please me!
one screen and mediocre sound system but half the price of the big bix theatres, seats with side tables, food that includes pizza, burgers and beer... Monday night oldiesor football in season...
