I agree - its a nice and clean mall EXCEPT those Cell Phone Salesmen - they pester everyone passby from their Kiosk. We really started avoiding these "punks". I hope they open more eateries in the food court - something helthy in addition to Subway. We feel very comfortable with the security guys around all the time. And by the way will someone tell these movie snakcs place to lower their price?? It's an outrage that they charge enormous amout of money for pop corn and a bottole of water. Thats a big rip-off by those guys. I hope some politicians bring up this issue in the ballot
Say what you want, but Eastfield Showcase Cinemas is a real boon to Eastfield Mall and a very convenient cinema for the people east of Springfield. It's nearly always clean, the parking is easy and convenient, and the movie selections are top notch. Is the food expensive- yes, but show me another cinema that's any different. The staff doesn't turn over quickly so you know they must treat their people right. I've been seeing the same cashiers for years now and we actually know each other by now. I think this is a great place to catch a flick, grab a bite to eat at the mall before or after, and even catch a sale at Macy's. I think the cinemas saved Eastfield Mall from going out of business. Keep up the great work!
This theater is convenient for me because its 5 minutes from my house. Bathrooms are always clean and the parking is easy. The snacks are overpriced but that food is bad for you so we probably shouldnt be eating it anyways. I eat before i go so i have no craving for their junk food!!!
I always go to the dollar store to get sodas and snacks...then bring a bigger bag tosneak it all in. I dont usually go here because of the high prices...its ridiculous.
The movie theaters are nice, clean, and the staff are good. However, I was appalled when I walked into a movie with a bag of clothes, and they requested to search my bag! I understand trying to make people buy their overpriced food, but that was ridiculous! They need to realize that they're a movie theater, not the NSA. If they dropped their food prices people wouldn't buy food elsewhere to bring in!
