  • Great thearte, haven't been in a while personally but used to go all the time as a kid. Couldn't think of a better way to support local biz, than going here.

  • Last week we attended a movie at a local chain where we sat through 25 min of advertisements and previews only to have the wrong movie start. Upon bringing it to there attention they started the correct movie and again 20 min of ads and previews. By then we decided to skip the show. We were refunded our ticket purchase with NO apologies and a rather rude attitude. Yesterday we saw a movie at Cinema Salem. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, cheaper tickets and CLEAN. At the end of the movie we were handed passes to a future movie with apologies for the sound problems they were having.WOW! we didn't notice ANY sound problems at all. This theater cares about it's customers and knows how to run a business. We will never go anywhere else again.

  • CinemaSalem is a gem. Good prices, great selection, tasty popcorn, real butter, rotating art in the lobby, giving back to the community on a monthly basis. They are a model business. Hey, Salemites! Think local when you think movie-going. Let's keep these guys with us!

  • CinemaSalem has a wonderful variety of choices each week. Usually a family film, an adult film, and a comedy, art film etc. They also have been a great community member, contributing to the arts. They deserve support as a well run, community business that is adding to Salem in a BIG way.

  • First run movies, cafe style atmosphere, tickets cheaper than the movie chains...AND a portion of all profits go to local charity. Feel good all around.
