Be ware, there is a person head count requirement before a movie is shown. I drove a half hour to the theatre to see a movie with my sister. We were early and there were 3 other people waiting to see the same movie. We were told to wait to see if more people "showed up" to see the same movie. At movie time, no other people "showed up" so the owner said he would not be showing the movie! I explained I was out of town and he still refused to show the movie! We were told there wern't enough people. Have you ever heard of a movie theatre not showing a movie because only 5 people were there to see it. I have not returned to that theatre since.

When you don't wanto pay $10.00 to see a good movie just wait a bit and go to Agawam Family Cinemas, they even have tables to put your food down on while you watch the big screen.

totally agree with everyone and wanted to add that the managment/ownership is wondereful. genuinely nice people.

This place is great!!!! It doesn't have the best screen and it is rundown, but you can't beat catching a movie for $4. You can take a family of 4 for under $20. You have to wait a little longer for the movies to get there, but I'm willing to wait to not have to pay a fortune. Help them stay in business by patronizing. You won't regret it and neither will your wallet.

I must agree. Agawam Familey Cinemas is a lil treasure. Great shows Great prices, Great lil tables and Great people running it. A place the whole bunch can go to and not break the bank. Wonderful !!!
