While this theatre hasn't been updated in a while, it is still a good place to see a movie. When I go to see a movie I am there for the movie and not the gameroom or concessions stand. That said, the popcorn and hot dogs are good and the theatre doesn't care if you bring your own water so you're not stuck buying some of theirs for too much dough. The theatre's lack of techno wow keeps the crowds down, which as far as I am concerned, is one of the most important things about a theatre. All of those places that are attached to a mall attract tweens who spend more time on their cell phones than watching the movie. As for the neighborhood, I would bet that the reviewers who think the area is lousy are the same people who won't let their daughter date someone because he looks "different." So, unless you're not a fan of diversity, you will have no problem with the neighborhood.
This theater is a dump! The facilities are run down and dirty, the employees don't give a damn about much of anything and have very poor supervision, and the area is so bad that you're likely to have your car broken into or stolen while you're watching the moving. No thanks!!!
This place is awsome if u want to movie hop. Pay 7 dollars go see all the movies u want.
I will not be returning to this theater. It smelled like stale piss and was filthy. It was akin to a seedy porn theater that perverted old men frequent with their pants around their ankles.
When I first lived in Tucson 12 years ago this was the best theater in town. They had little round pods instead of the typical rectangle for theaters. So I thought hey I'm back in town let's check it out. Well its exactly the same. Except in 12 years they haven't fixed one thing. The seats are the old and uncomfortable fold up kind. The picture wasn't great and frankly the surrounding area is a little down turned as well. So you'd think they would at least charge less admission, no same price as the Park Place theater. Avoid this go to one of the mall theaters.
