Best movie house in Iowa BIGGEST screen an THX sound.
Oh, I forgot to mention -- they don't bore you with a half hour of ads and previews before the show! I think the longest I've ever sat before a film was maybe 10 minutes. And it was only previews. No ads! Definitely refreshing.
I go to the Merle Hay Mall Cinema exclusively. Once you go to a theater so big that one never has to sit behind anyone. The screen is bigger than my house and the sound is even bigger. Whoever runs this theater should be congratulated as it is the best movie theater i have ever been to and believe me I have been to all of them. One last thing. The prices are much lower then anyone else.

This is the BEST theater in Des Moines. I won't go see a movie unless it's showing here. Big screen, sound, awesome seats....it's how movies SHOULD be seen.
