Yes Putnam County is a small town also a very poor town, but if people would spend their money in the town they reisde in then maybe the businesses here can upgrade. If we continue to go out of town all we are doing is giving our money to other counties to use and depriving the country we reside in a chance to bloom.
I am new to Palaka and was going to catch a show at this theater but thank god I read the reviews first I am a bit of a germaphobe so I think I will go to Gainesville or St Aug but one user said there was a brand new theater the next town over does anyone know where they were talking about?
The problem is, that people of Putnam County KNOW their theater. First, the theater is very, very dirty. When you go in to a screening room, look up at the rafters, that is a health problem waiting to happen. Second, when it rains in Putnam County, the theater itself leaks into the rooms and makes it smell of mildew and mold. Very disgusting. I agree with other members..., if this theater would clean itself up, as in, clean up the dust, the mildew and mold and fix the roofing, maybe more of the residents would not have to drive miles and miles to visit a clean and nicer theater. Besides, you pay too much money for a large drink which is considered a small at bigger and better theaters.
It amazes me that some people can just jump up on their high horses and put Putnam County down just because of a movie theatre when they themselves have absolutely no spelling or any other grammatical skills.
i have to agree with the rest of the posts. the movie theatre is dirty. i only go if i have to. they would make more money if they cleaned it up. even the screen is dirty.
