i love the imax it so awesome you get to watch a movie in 3D without wearing those stupid glasses:-D
This Movie theater has a large screen about five stories high. The theater is in a naval museum so it dosn't show the movies in regular theater's, but it does show movies that make you feel right in the action. Not recommended for weak stomach's
This is one of the most awesome museums ever created. Every plane from the 1st bi-plane up to the F-18 is on display here. There is also a WWII replica of downtown Pensacola and a replica of a WWII Pacific Island Airbase. Best of all, the museum is FREE!
This was a good lunch. I had the pulled pork BBQ sandwich it came with potato chips, drink, and slaw. I wish they would have had fries but it was good, quick, and cheap.
If you are EVER within 4 hours of Pensacola, and have the least bit interest in the history of aviation in our Navy, this is simply a must-see museum. Free, open everyday, guided tours, IMAX theater, and a few of the aircraft I've actually flown! If you need more information, drop me a line....
