Went and watched Blind Side at this theater. All in all it was an okay experience. The projecter slipped during the movie and it took staff about 10 minutes to come in and readjust it. Prices were reasonable and I was very happy about that. Only real complant was paying five dollars for a 32 oz Coke but movie theater prices so what are you going to do. I will be back to watch another movie I just won't be buying a drink. All an all I'd give it a 7.5 on a 10 point scale
Its a good, student theater. Its not as cheap as it used to be but its still cheaper than the two "plexes" in town. They spent a bit of cash in the last few years to clean the place up, put in new seats, renovate the place. Its roomy and comfortable.
I love this place and turned my daughter onto it, who has 2 young children. Very economical for us. We love the fact that the concession stand does not gouge our pockets. I love the fact that I can stretch out my legs and not constantly bump into the seat in front of me. Longer matinee times with better prices. The Best Kept Secret In Gainesville. This is my theatre. A little older, but sometimes "Older is Better".
Made me angry. They charge full price for three year olds! Thier staff was smoking ouside the building! no one manned the desk during regular working hours. Flippant, careless, and unkind. Also, the theatre is dirty, the last three times I've been there the floors were full of trash. I hate to go there and the only reason I went there the last three times was out of social courtesy to friends who are cheap and refuse to go anywhere else. 2.00 savings means no clean bathrooms, dirty floors and ill educated unhelpful staff. Not my idea of an enjoyable movie experience.
I went to see transformers 2, they have a great staff first time i have went to gator cinemas. it was packed!! but we had no trouble getting in fast and finding seats, i thought it was really nice that before the movie started they did a random give away of tickets to a show of your choice! you don't see BIG BUSINESS do things like that anymore. the prices of snacks are great too and students are only $7.00, its the right price for anyones wallet! ALSO IT WAS A SOLD OUT SHOWING AT 12:00am the staff was very organized !!!!!
