The theaters at Regal have small screens, and below average sound quality. There was a musty stench during my last visit. A few months ago, the theater was flooded and the sound went out, so management provided those in the theater with vouchers to come back and see a movie for free. I was appreciative, but I had also spent $20 on popcorn, 2 drinks, and candy that I bought to enjoy with the movie. I went to an employee and asked about a partial reimbursement for the refillable popcorn and drinks, but her response was "We can't do that, you only get 1 refill anyway" (keep in mind that the movie was only 25-30 mins in; I hadn't used any refill yet). The problem was resolved when I spoke with the manager. I have given this theater multiple opportunities and although management has done their best to equalize the issues, it is all not worth the hassle to when I can drive an extra 10 minutes to AMC where the theaters are much better and I've never had any problems.
This is a great theater. I go there 90% of the time. It is easy to get into and out of parking-wise, the popcorn and drinks are good and I think a little less expensive that other theaters. One drawback is that they don't have hotdogs like they do at AMC. Sound/Projection problems are no more or less than at other local theaters.
I have been to this movie theater tons of times and i have never had any complaints. The popcorn and candy is always good. I have never been when the sound was to loud or to low. The Tallahassee Mall theatre is a good theatre but this one is better. Go there!
the Popcorn is much better here than at Tallahassee Mall & they offer "real" Rasinets & Snowcaps! Yummy!! It's also usually very cold, so bring a jacket! A nice way to cool off this summer!
I used to always go to the Tallahassee Mall theatre, but the kids always hanging out and about in the parking lot with the low lighting conditions, didn't make for a safe feeling. Once I found out that college students get a student discount at Regal's, that was all she wrote! The environment at Regal's is much better than that of AMC anyway, so that makes it well worth the trip! My only complaint... Once it seemed as though they were trying to burst ear drums b/c it was so loud! It's a movie theatre though...
