They never keep their web page up to date. Arrived to watch a movie and no cars in the lot. 3 of the shows listed were not shown until night time. Can't get anyone on the phone (not even a message telling what time the movies are). Not worth it.
Carmike is our favorite complex. The people are courteous and friendly (Amanda is our favorite). Noise levels are much lower than Rave which seems to cater to the kiddies. Popcorn is the best.
************ALL TICKETS ARE NOT $6 AS YAHOO SAYS, AND THIS INS'T FOR THE MATINEE EITHER************* I WENT TO THIS THEATRE FOR A 9:30 PM SHOW THINKING I WAS GOING TO PAY $6, BUT THEY CHARGED $7.50. SURE, IT'S JUST $1.50 DIFFERENCE, BUT ITS THE PRINCIPLE. COME ON GUYS, GET WITH THE PROGRAM!!!
Carmike is a great place to go see movies the seats are very comfortable. I would like to say that the rave on bayou after a certain is for adults 20 and up. It does not not matter what the rating of the movie is. They card ppl if they look young or if they are acting suspicious.
I agree. The folks at the Carmike are very friendly and for an older building, it has the feel of community. The prices are more affordable and so I can take my grandchildren more often. Now with the $1 Tuesdays, popcorn and a drink are SO affordable. We love the Carmike and plan to go there every chance we get.
