My Son I just reactivated our Membership at the Museum of Science and saw Avatar. I have a cast on my leg and Teresa was wonderful in helping us get our seating. My son and I agreed that seeing the movie in your Imax theater was an awesome experience!! We will defintely come back soon!!! I highly recommend the movie at Imax for anyone wanting to enjoy a great experience!! Thanks again, David E.
Superb sound that you will feel in your bones, as well as excellent concessions and, of course, a wonderfully large screen that is crisp visually. We had a great time seeing Star Trek there and look forward to seeing more movies at this venue. Note: just don't sit too close; go at least halfway back...you'll experience more of the movie and be able to take it all in.
Try seeing a real IMAX release in 2D or 3D, not a Hollywood film converted to the format. It will blow you away.
I saw The Dark Knight at the Autonation IMax and I too was disappointed. I thought IMax was supposed to envelope you in the movie. It didn't. Perhaps I was expecting too much. I've seen movies at the Omni Theater in Boston and I thought the IMax was something like that... a panoramic screen that actually put you in the movie. I will have to see another IMax theater to see if there is a difference.
The theater is much is a superb experince compare to the regular theaters. Unfortunately they never play the movies people want to see like Watchman. Very disapointing I cant believe you guys cant reach a revenue sharing agreement with the theater across the street that no one goes to anyways
