very good experience, in a good location. pretty good price too
I have been to this theatre many times and it is always a hit and miss, depending on when you go. I find the concessions ridiculously expensive considering that most of the time the popcorn is stale, and the service (teenagers with bad attitudes) is slow and the people working the counter seem inconvenienced by our presence. The theatres are somewhat comfortable but many times they are overcrowded and unsupervised. Go on a weekday, first showing and you should be OK....
The Cobb Theater, in Merritt Island Florida are clean and comfortable, and they keep the air temp at a good cool setting. Directions threw the theater are clear and easily found. the only thing about the Theater that it would be nice to see is a few more trailers and less commercials before the main show.
I asked them why they were not playing Farenheit 9-11, Religilous, and Sicko, and they said every time that they don't play documentaries. Yet, they lied, they're playing Glenn Beck's right wing doc movie, they played Dr. Laura's right wing doc movie. They have a right to operate their business however they choose, but they shouldn't try to come across as a legitimate, fair minded, enterprise in the process. You bring up "W" and "Milk", "Milk" being an OSCAR winning film by every reasonable person's acclamation. And they played two anti Clinton films while he was president. "Wag the Dog" and "Primary Colors," of course back then the theatre was in the rear building, not the mall, but the same owners. So your point as to non-documentary films is basically mute.
why the heck dont they have a website?!?!!? am i blind? i swear i dont see a link for a website. do i seriously have to call to find out whats playing and what time. arfff!!
