The movie facilities are nice, but the actual theaters are just OK. I like this place because it's rarely crowded when I go there, and the people who attend movies here are usually respectful of the audience around them.
Expensive, yes, but nice facility. Too bad that the people -- the staff and the employees -- are so awful. But hey, this is the USA, so what can you expect. Untrained, minimum wage employees. Loud. ignorant people yakking through the movie with cell phones interrupting and texting going on throughout even the best pix.
I live next to Aventura Mall but will not go to the movies there anymore. I've been perhaps 20 times and each time, there are several couples and groups of people in the theaters talking literally throughout the entire movie. I have in the past asked people to be quiet, but the problem is that it's usually three or four couples and you can't get them all to shut up. I've been to many movie theaters in S. Florida and notice this rudeness only at Aventura. Also, the movie is pretty filthy considering the high price of the tickts there.
The theater physically is nice but the staff is horrible, it's always super crowded and it is one of the most overpriced theaters in the whole Dade/Broward area.
Iv been going there since it opened,,,never seen the back stand open either..its true ,the boss only hires kids and some are rude, the price is excessive to get in, And the pop corn is the highest in the world to me ! I really ,realllly hate all the b.s. we have to sit through just to see the 2 hour movie.And i have to pay to see it....not 1 dam cartoon or news feature....please tell the boss that we want cartoons back and no dam car commercials!!! Signed Dino in sunny Miami !!! On the other hand ,seats are soft comfortable and the whole place is kept clean, the water in the water fountains should be raised a little , it might help reduce the flu,not having to tough the machine with your lips ,just to get a free drink!!!! That should be a law...
