Lajos Koltai

Hungarian cinematographer Lajos Koltai gained international attention by way of his many collaborations with his brilliant countryman, director Istvan Szabo. Koltai's unerring cinematic eye contributed mightily to the success of Szabo's thematic trilogy Mephisto (1981), Colonel Redl (1985) and Hanussen (1988).
