We’re aware of the fact that Swede Noomi Rapace received quite a bit of recognition when she originated the role of computer hacker Lisbeth Salander in the internationally lauded “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” franchise in 2009. That said, she didn’t become a household name in the U.S. But that will soon change when stateside audiences see her suit up as archaeologist Elizabeth Shaw in director Ridley Scott’s sci-fi spectacular, “Prometheus.” And even if she bites the dust after being attacked by a rabid face-hugging monster, she’ll definitely be remembered for starring in the highly anticipated “Alien” prequel alongside some of cinema’s hottest commodities: Charlize Theron, Michael Fassbender, and Idris Elba.
