The script is apparently strictly by-the-numbers biopic stuff -- overwrought in some areas, underdeveloped in others -- but Kutcher keeps things lively with his nuanced Steve Jobs impersonation, from his distinctive walk and posture to his rat-a-tat speech patterns and, yes, his infamous temper tantrums. Kutcher could probably get more serious roles like this ... if he, you know, actually wanted them.
