Jim Carrey, "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone" (March 15) Aging funnyman Jim Carrey is all about the supporting roles this year with his upcoming turn as the heroic Colonel Stars and Stripes in "Kick-Ass 2" (June 28) and as Steve Gray, the Criss Angel-like street illusionist who gives over-the-hill Vegas act Burt Wonderstone (Steve Carell) a run for his magic in "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone" (March 15). It's nice to see Carrey playing such a strange character who's more zen-mysterious than exhaustingly manic -- and seemingly willing to admit that, yes, there are other actors who might actually be at least almost as funny as he is. As a star who isn't known for sharing the spotlight, Carrey seems downright tailor-made for this tale of rival artists.
