Photographer describes Gulf oil spill timeline

AP photographer Gerald Herbert documented the devastation at Cat Island in Barataria Bay, in Plaquemines Parish, La. a month into the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, and returned two years later to find the area in a worse state of deterioration.
