• I'm kind of torn. I grew up with the original and loved it! I'm depressed that William Shatner won't be in the film, but thrilled that Leonard Nimoy will be! I trust it's going to be a good film, because Nimoy refused to do "Generations". which is a terrible movie, so obviously he's not going to do a film just because it's calle

• fyi kirk the age of a leonard nimoy spock isn't possible. if you've seen generations you would know why, but that's a spoiler so just go watch the movie and see for yourself.

• shatner is suppose to play kirks father. Nimoy isnt playing the part the he normaly would play sofar i am not impressed everytime Star trek goes backwards its not all that hot. I was hopeing that the next movie to celebrate its many years would have somehow took carracters from all shows and merged them. or even go back and do untold Voyager stories in the delta quandrant w

• Well, if memory serves, LOL, Kirk and Spock did not meet at Star Fleet. Spock was already Number One on the Enterprise under Peck. So, why did they change the story?

• Nimoy is playin the part he normally plays ("spock") he plays an older version that goes back in time somehow to help the younger spock and crew. they were fliming some scenes at the budwieser brewery in van nuys,ca a few months ago. mainly the engine room scenes and a hanger scene which had some sort of transport craft. (pretty cool) got to walk around on set and check out all
